NWS Melbourne Issues Rip Current, Storm Forecast
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Melbourne forecast a mostly dry night with isolated showers possible (20-30%) and lightning storms expected from southern Brevard County southward.
The NWS said the night will be warm, with low temperatures generally in the mid to upper 70s. Skies are expected to become partly cloudy.
In addition, the NWS issued a Moderate Risk of rip currents at the east central Florida beaches. The agency advised, never enter the water alone.
