Camp Cory Announces Summer 2026 Staff Highlights

YMCA Camp Cory in Penn Yan has announced its Summer 2026 staff highlights.

Paloma Pacheco — Waterfront Director

Paloma Pacheco is a student at Appalachian State University in North Carolina and is majoring in Cellular Biology. She loves nature, wildlife and science, as well as swimming, paddling and water activities. She also enjoys spending time at home with her cats and a good book. She owns a large Fishing Corporation that has monopolized Keuka Lake, but has decided to make a truce with the fishes for a peaceful and fun summer. A fun fact about Paloma is that she is part mermaid, but she will not reveal which part.

Makayla Coolledge — Senior Counselor

Makayla is from Melbourne, Australia, and this will be her first year as a Senior Camp Counselor at Camp Cory. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, photography, and traveling. She is one of six siblings.

Finley Lind — Senior Counselor

Finley is from Rochester, New York, and is returning for her 11th summer at camp and 2nd summer on staff. In her free time, she likes listening to music, watching cartoons, making crafts, and exploring the outdoors. A fun fact about Finley is that she dyes her hair a new color almost every month.

Let's give a warm welcome to these team members.
