Denver Art Museum highlights interpretive specialist for exhibition
The Denver Art Museum is highlighting the role of an Interpretive Specialist as it presents “The Stars We Do Not See: Australian Indigenous Art.” The museum introduced Manuel Ferreira, saying he was an integral part of the team that brought the exhibition to life at the DAM.
The museum said the exhibition is on view through July 26 and includes more than 130 works from the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne. The DAM described the show as the largest exhibition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art ever presented in North America.
According to the DAM, “The Stars We Do Not See” is the result of an unprecedented cultural partnership between the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. The museum said the Denver Art Museum is the exhibition’s second venue.
The DAM said the exhibition will also be shown at the Portland Art Museum in Oregon from September 5, 2026 through January 3, 2027. It will then appear at the Peabody Essex Museum in Massachusetts from February 27, 2027 through June 13, 2027.
The museum directed visitors to its website to learn more and plan a visit.
