**West Melbourne Library to Host Lunar New Year Celebration**

The West Melbourne Library will celebrate the Lunar New Year, welcoming the Year of the Snake, with a variety of activities for the community on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The festivities will take place at the library’s location at 2755 Wingate Blvd.

The event begins at 10 a.m. with children’s craft activities, followed by a traditional lion dance and martial arts demonstration at 11 a.m. Attendees are invited to enjoy the celebrations and learn about Lunar New Year traditions.

Two men were taken into custody after a motor-vehicle burglary on the Northwest Freeway; deputies recovered the stolen property in Houston and learned one suspect had a Harris County theft warrant while the other had a warrant from Angelina County for probation violation—tampering/fabricating physical evidence.
